«جائو مِنگفو»(1322-1245 میلادی) خوشنویس دوران سلسلهی یوان بود. او هم مثل «سوشی»، به روان و سلیس نویسی مشهور بود. او در سرودن شعر و ادبیات عالی، و اطلاعات خوبی از طریقت تائو و آیین بودا داشت. در نقاشی مهارت داشت و خوشنویس خوبی هم بود، به ویژه در نوشتن خط معمول و مرسوم، پیوسته نویسی و نوشتن کاراکترهای کوچک. او سبک «لییونگ[[جائو منگ فو، خوشنویس چینی#%20ftn2|[2]]]»، که مبتنی بر سبک دو وانگ بود را آموخت. گفته میشود که او میتوانست روزی ده هزار کلمه خوشنویسی کند و آثار قلمی او به سبک «جائو» معروف بود. او به همراه «یان جِنچینگ»، «لیو گونگچوان» و «اویانگشون»، یکی از «چهار استاد خوشنویسی در نوشتن کاراکترهای رسمی» بود. «جائو» در سن 63 سالگی، از طرف امپراتور مأمور شد تا لوح سنگی «دَنبا» را به خط رسمی بنویسد که اینک در موزهی کاخ پکن نگهداری میشود.<br />
