یکی دیگر از روزنامههای نام آشنای کشور قطر، روزنامهی «الرایه» میباشد. این روزنامه در دهم ماه می سال 1979 در بیست و چهار صفحه و در قطع معمولی، از سوی مؤسسهي انتشاراتی الخلیج به ریاست تحریری ناصر محمد عثمان، پا به عرصهی وجود نهاد. این روزنامه نیز از سه منظر قابل تحلیل و کالبدشکافی است:<br />

پس از اینکه ریاست هیئت تحریریه این نشریه، به روزنامهنگار نامدار و حرفه ای مصری؛ يعني کمال عزب واگذار شد، این نشریه از رشد کیفی خوبی برخوردار گردید تا جایی که در بین سایر روزنامههای منتشره در کشور قطر نمود بالاتری پيدا كرد و روی همین اصل، این نشریه، مقدمات لازم را براي عرضهی خود به بازار مطبوعات درقالب روزنامه فراهم نمود و در تاریخ بیست و هفتم ژانویهي سال 1980، برای اولین بار به عنوان روزنامه در دکههای مطبوعاتی قطر و سایر کشورهای حوزهي خلیجفارس ديدهشد.<br />

الرایه بعد از انتشار در قالب روزنامه، سیر موفقی را طی نمود؛ چرا که عمده توجه و عنایت این روزنامه توجه به موضوعات و مسائلی بود که در وهلهی نخست در جامعهی قطر وجود داشت و در مرحلهی دوم کشورهای حوزهی خلیجفارس به نحوی بدان مبتلا بودند. علاوه بر آن، روزنامه با باز نمودن یک ستون خاص برای جهان عرب، هر روز تازهترین اخبار و تحلیلهايي را که مربوط به سایر کشورهای عرب و از جمله کشورهای عرب حوزهی شمال آفریقا بود مندرج مینمود.<br />

روزنامهی الرایه در بین سایر روزنامههای کشور قطر، ویژگی منحصر به فرد دیگری نیز دارد و آن اینکه این روزنامه اولین نشریه و مطبوعهای است که به انضمام ويژه نامهی هفتگی به بازار نشر عرضه میگردید. در این ویژهنامهي هفتگی، فراگیرترین موضوعات و علیالخصوص موضوعات و تحلیلهای اجتماعی نوشتهميشد متخصصان و کارشناسان علوم اجتماعی، مقالات مفیدی را در آن مينوشتند.</div>Samiei
