در بخش مراقبتهای بهداشتی، هوش مصنوعی پتانسیل رسیدگی به کمبودهای بحرانی نیروی کار مراقبتهای بهداشتی ناشی از مهاجرت را نشان میدهد. از سال ۲۰۱۰ تا ۲۰۱۸، نسبت پزشک به جمعیت از0/529 به 0/291 در هر ۱۰۰۰ نفر کاهش یافت و کمبودهای شدیدی در خدمات پزشکی تخصصی از جمله مراقبتهای ویژه، انکولوژی، رادیولوژی و تشخیص آزمایشگاهی در سوریه ایجاد کرد. ادغام فناوری های هوش مصنوعی در بخش مراقبتهای بهداشتی شامل تشخیص از راه دور، قابلیتهای نظارت و سیستمهای تجزیه و تحلیل پیشبینیکننده مانند هالا سیستمز[5] است که از هوش مصنوعی برای پیشبینی حملات هوایی به مراکز مراقبتهای بهداشتی استفاده میکند و هشدارهای بیدرنگ را به پرسنل پزشکی ارائه میکند<ref>Alkhalil, M., Abbara, A., Grangier, C., & Ekzayez, A. ''BMJ Global Health, 9''(8), e015755. https://doi.org/10.1136/bmjgh-2024-015755</ref>.گزارش سازمان جهانی کار(The International Labour Organization(ILO)) در سال ۲۰۲۵ در مورد دیجیتالسازی و هوش مصنوعی در بازارهای کار عربی، پتانسیل قابل توجهی برای افزایش بهرهوری ناشی از هوش مصنوعی شناسایی کرد و در عین حال بر ضرورت مدیریت سیاست فراگیر، سرمایهگذاری در زیرساختهای دیجیتال، توسعه سواد دیجیتال و سازوکارهای حمایت اجتماعی برای کاهش اختلالات فناوری تأکید کرد.این گزارش پیشبینی میکند که افزایش ۱۰ درصدی در نفوذ تلفن همراه تقریباً 1/2 درصد به رشد تولید ناخالص ملی در اقتصادهای در حال توسعه کمک میکند و اهمیت اقتصادی ابتکارات تحول دیجیتال را برجسته میکند<ref>ILO.
